The newest addition to our 3,000-acre historic family estate. Mervue Estate sits on nearly 60 acres with complete privacy and no neighbors except for some wandering elk. A gated, serene retreat offering mountain and ocean views, terraced landscaping throughout the acreage with walking trails and abundant wildlife awaits. Private beach access at The Cove beach, shared by five of our other vacation homes, is just a short five-minute drive away.
This two-story, 4,200-square-foot custom home features four large bedrooms, including an en-suite bath in the main bedroom and two additional bathrooms on the top floor. The grand great level is beautifully appointed as the perfect entertaining space with Pacific Northwest 30-foot vaulted ceilings with open beams, a newly upgraded gas fireplace, and an adjoining family room with a wet bar. The original kitchen has been upgraded with Viking appliances and a small facelift. A stunning mezzanine overlooks the great level, serving as an additional lounge space. Enjoy the warm comfort of an outdoor gas fire pit, or take a soak in the large hot tub on the secluded north side of the home. A large patio spans across the entire front and all along the north side of the home, creating a wonderful extension of the indoor space, and the large lawn with steps traverses the hillside, leading you down to a perfect private gathering location for weddings, family events or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Enjoy your own golf tee above the house, where guests can take turns hitting 200-250 yards through the trees with ocean and forest views or explore the trails surrounding the home and take a picnic to enjoy the views. The Base Occupancy is eight guests, and the house can accommodate up to 10 guests. Please note that we have a guest fee of $10 + tax per night per guest over the base occupancy. We are pet-friendly, so furry family members are welcome for a non-refundable "per dog" pet fee.
*Please note there is a Crook Point maintenance building above the house that is in use for our team during the week.
